Women's Week: Shadow a Student Doctor Day

Shadow a Student Doctor Day will afford Junior and Senior Pre-Health Students at Fisk and TSU to see what it's like to be a professional student. Those interested in medicine, will tour the gross anatomy lab and speak to students from every year about their experience and how to prepare for medical school. Students interested in obtaining a PhD, will have the opportunity to visit different labs in the graduate school. Those interested in dentistry will have the opportunity to shadow dental students in the clinics. The deans of each school have been notified and approve of the students coming to shadow. However, I cannot give them the exact number of students until the event is approved. I also spoke with the Academic Deans at both Fisk and TSU. 

Schedule for the Day:

1-1:30:Tour of Meharry
1:30-2:15- Gross Anatomy Lab, Dental Clinic, or Graduate Lab
2:15-3:00- Open Discussion with Students. (2nd Year Medical Student Lecture Hall).
