About Us

to provide a network for the LGBTQQIA community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and their Allies)to promote health care equality for all individuals regardless of their gender, sex or sexual preference. Our goals are: to facilitate educational and social activities which foster a welcoming LGBTQQIA friendly environment. Host events and trainings for Meharry Medical College and the larger community. To work with the faculty, staff, administration, and students at Meharry to increase awareness surrounding LGBTQQI health care issues, especially regarding disparities in the LGBTQQI community of color.
