About Us

William S. Quinland formerly known as The Virchow Society for Pathology and the Pathology Interest Group will enhance the visibility of pathology as a medical professions by serving as an academic bridge between student interest and the pathology profession. We wish to entice students to pursue careers in pathology by demonstrating that the world of pathology goes beyond simply looking under a microscope and there are branches of pathology that are ready be be explored. To uphold our mission, we intend to meet monthly to discuss various aspects of pathology,introduce pathology professions, and integrate pathology with the surrounding community.
